Big Bear Lake, CA - The County is undertaking a comprehensive study to assess the impact of short-term rental activity on renter households and the availability of long-term rental housing in mountain and unincorporated desert communities.
During each meeting, the County has been sharing the progress made so far and encouraging community participation in the study. The presentations have covered various aspects, including the background of the study, the data sources and methodologies employed, market trends related to short-term rentals, preliminary findings, requests for community input, and the planned next steps.
