Synopsis:
"The Gentle Paws" is a heartwarming live-action drama designed for preschoolers. Set in a vivid forest, it follows two adult bears, Bruno and Honey, who adopt two orphaned cubs, Bumble and Berry, as they find solace and a sense of family through shared grief and love.
Roles:
[BRUNO] [Gender: Male] [Age: Adult] - A strong male bear with a deep brown coat. He embodies wisdom and patience and serves as a protective figure. Seeking an actor with a commanding presence and a gentle demeanor.
[HONEY] [Gender: Female] [Age: Adult] - A nurturing female bear with a golden coat. She brings warmth and kindness to the family. Looking for an actress with a comforting presence and maternal instincts.
[BUMBLE] [Gender: Male] [Age: Cub/Child] - A playful and curious male bear cub. Must be able to portray a sense of wonder and adventurous spirit. Child actors encouraged to apply.
[BERRY] [Gender: Female] [Age: Cub/Child] - A female bear cub who is thoughtful and caring. Seeking a young actress who can convey depth and compassion.
[PARK RANGER] [Any Gender] [Age: 25-50] - A friendly and engaging human character who educates the audience. Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable breaking the fourth wall.
Additional Info:
Actors with experience or comfort in working with children are preferred. Puppetry or voiceover experience is a plus for the bear characters. The production is committed to inclusive casting.
